Tovertafel er interaktive spil, som bryder passiviteten hos mennesker med demens ved at stimulere til både fysisk og kognitiv aktivitet samt opmuntre til socialt samspil. Tovertafel er udviklet for og sammen med personer, der har middel og kraftig demens. Selve spillet er en enhed, som placeres i loftet over et bord. Spillene projiceres ned på bordet og styres med håndbevægelser. Spillenes stærke farver, former og lyde bidrager til engagement og et ønske om at deltage.

Tovertafel are interactive games that break the passivity of people with dementia by stimulating both physical and cognitive activity as well as encouraging social interaction. Tovertafel is developed for and together with people who have moderate and severe dementia. The game itself is a device that is placed in the ceiling above a table. The games are projected onto the table and controlled with hand movements. The games' strong colors, shapes and sounds contribute to commitment and a desire to participate.
